Victoria Justice has been in the public eye since she was young. Her first major role was as Lola Martinez on the successful Nickelodeon show, Zoey 101. A few years after the show ended, Justice was given her own show, Victorious. The show lasted for four seasons, and Justice performed several of her own songs for the show. Justice recently hit the gym with her friend, and the two wore similar workout outfits. Justice recently shared a photo of the two of them on her Instagram story. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Victoria Justice stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
Justice shared some of her wellness secrets with Health Magazine. She says that she loves to take dance classes to stay in shape. "To be honest, I used to hate working out, but as I've gotten older, I've realized that it gives me so much more energy, and it just makes me feel so much better. I love taking classes to switch it up, so I'll do a dancing class or a twerk class. I'm not kidding. It's actually a really great workout. After 10 minutes of twerking, your thighs and your butt feel it right away. [Laughs] But it's so much fun."
Justice told Health Magazine that she works with a trainer to stay fit. "We basically work out everything. He has me doing push-ups, squats, crunches, lifting free weights, jumping rope and all that stuff." The Australian Institute of Fitness states that trainers have a lot of benefits. "Having an educated personal trainer beside you to demonstrate the correct posture and technique is invaluable. A personal trainer will ensure clients are performing exercises correctly and efficiently, in order to maximise results."
No matter how busy Justice gets, she always makes time for herself. She shared her favorite ways to unwind in her Health Magazine interview. "I try to meditate every day. It's important to take that time, even if it's just 10 minutes, to block everything out and get grounded again. And I love to lie on my hammock and read things that are inspirational and motivational, whether it's a self-help book or an autobiography."
Justice shared some of her favorite supplements in her Health Magazine interview. "I'm all about the supplements. I take fish oil every single day, as well as vitamin D, magnesium, B complex, vitamin C. I drink lots of water, and I've been trying to do daily wheatgrass shots, but they're awful and I have to plug my nose. We also have this shake in my house that we pretty much have every morning. It's made of rice milk, bananas, Udo's oil and protein powder. I've been drinking it ever since I was little."
Justice revealed to HollywoodLife that she likes to practice yoga. "My sister has gotten me into hot yoga. So yeah it's tough. It was really not my thing in the beginning. And I still am in the classes sometimes and I'm like, 'Why am I doing this? Why am I here right now?' But it's… You always leave feeling better. But yesterday we did a class and I had to step out 'cause I was just… I was that one person that was like, Nope, can't take it. But when it's over, you always feel like, 'Oh, your muscles, they're relaxed and it's so good.'"
