Tammy Slaton has not been heard from for several days.
The 1000-lb Sisters star has been in a rehab facility since the end of 2021, but that hasn’t stopped the long-time reality star from sharing a number of updates on social media.
For many months, Slaton would post silly TikTok videos, even offering up hints along the way about Season 4 of her popular TLC series.
She seemed to be doing pretty well.
But the recent silence has fans concerned.
Has something happened to Tammy?
Late last year, due to a serious medical crisis, Slaton had to be placed in a medically-induced coma, according to her brother and others close to the star, who confirmed that Tammy’s lungs collapsed and the cable network personality stopped breathing at one point.
Very frightening stuff.
On Thursday, meanwhile, co-star and sister Amy Slaton uploaded a number of photos of her son, Gage, reading through the Comments section later on and responding to questions about her famous sibling.
"is ur sister okay? she hasn’t posted in a while," wrote one concerned user.
"yes she been locked out of her account and had to set up new ones," replied Amy, who added in surprising fashion:
"And tiktok banned her."
Wow, huh?
It’s unclear what led to the ban, as Tammy usually just uses silly filters (see below for an example) and occasionally talks about 1000-lb Sisters.
Nothing that would prompt a ban from any platform, not that we can recall.
Tammy’s last post on Instagram was on March 14.
Just about five weeks later, however, she scrolled through Facebook and assured fans on that website that she was holding up well, given the circumstances of rehab and her aforementioned crisis a short while ago.
“Tammy [is] doing just fine," the star herself wrote in mid-April after someone on Facebook asked about her in a 1000-lb Sisters Group, prompting an abundance of Likes from over 700 people who viewed the comment.
Slaton had previously chimed in on occasion to make similar remarks.
In March, for example, an individual asked on TikTok:
"When is season 4 coming out of 1000.-Lb Sisters? I can’t wait to watch it! I love seeing your guys’ journey :)"
Responded Slaton, seemingly confirming that new episodes were on the way… at some point:
"We haven’t started filming for season 4 yet. It’s going to be quite a while before it airs."
First and foremost, Tammy must improve her health.
One day after entering rehab last year, the 35-year-old "quit breathing," her brother, Chris stated on the Season 3 finale.
She was taken to the hospital and quickly put on a ventilator, along with a mentally-induced coma.
"They didn’t know if she was going to make it through the night. Or make it through the next hour," Chris told viewers at the time.
