Does Dunkin Donuts Support Israel?

July 2024 · 3 minute read

Does Dunkin’ Donuts support Israel or Palestine? That’s what people want to know. After all, it is one of the mega-food chains, and many want to determine which side a company supports before buying from them.

This is because since the Israel-Palestine conflict began, several mega companies have vocally condemned Hamas’ attack on Israel. However, this action has drawn backlash. All because plenty of people see this action as being anti-Palestine.

Some have pointed out that many such companies have refused to condemn the loss of Palestinian lives that have happened as a result of Israel’s war there. So, which side is Dunkin’ on?

Dunkin’ Donuts has remained neutral in the Israel-Palestine conflict. They haven’t put out any tweets or shown any actions that might be interpreted in support of either Israel or Palestine since the Middle Eastern conflict began on October 7, 2023.

After the genocide Isra*l is committing to Palestine the least we can do is hit their economy.

Comments and posts on various social media platforms seem to imply or flat-out say that Dunkin’ Donuts is supporting Israel. One example is of Twitter/X user @hw0ell posting:

“Devastated to find out Dunkin’ supports Israel, my favorite donut spot….. Now not favorite anym bcs FREE PALESTINE!!!! I can live without those Donuts. Wasn’t even good anyway.”

However, a simple search about Dunkin’ Donuts’ stance on the Israel and Palestine conflict doesn’t yield any fruitful results.

A quick search of the Twitter/X page of Dunkin’ Donuts also shows that they haven’t put out any statement regarding the conflict. In fact, their official website also doesn’t show any such results.

Additionally, Yale’s website has been keeping track of the companies that “Have Condemned Hamas’ Terrorist Attack on Israel,” and Dunkin’ Donuts’ name doesn’t show up on the list.

Reminder🔥
Research any coffee shops that don’t support Israel at all
Make coffee at home
Gas stations usually give out free coffee
Don’t drink Starbucks

So, it looks like Dunkin’ Donuts doesn’t support Israel, and neither does it support Palestine. They have chosen to remain neutral and out of the conflict.

Also, since the Middle Eastern conflict began, they haven’t shown solidarity towards either side through any action that might be interpreted as them choosing a side.

So, should you buy from them?

Some might say that not saying anything is equal to supporting the oppressors, so buying from such a company isn’t honorable. However, Dunkin’ Donuts is a franchise, unlike companies like Starbucks

As a result, if the franchise owner of your local Dunkin’ supports your ideology, you might consider buying from that specific chain.

This is also why you might see videos of a specific store supporting Palestine by changing the donuts’ frosting to the flag’s colors. At the same time, you might see other stores supporting Israel or preferring to stay neutral, like the company’s official stance.

So, will you buy from a Dunkin’ Donuts store that supports your ideology? Or are you planning on boycotting them entirely because the primary company and brand aren’t taking a side?
