Oleksandr Usyk was able to emerge victorious against Tyson Fury with a split-decision victory. The fight happened in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and was the first undisputed heavyweight fight since 1999. As such, Usyk became the first undisputed heavyweight champion in the four-belt era of boxing. In the first round, both fighters threw shots while maintaining their distance. Fury appeared to be quick with his feet and used his impressive head movement.

Similarly, in the fourth and fifth rounds, Usyk kept attacking Fury, but the WBC champion managed to land several impressive shots.
Usyk’s pressure continued till the seventh round, and during the eighth, Fury decided to be more aggressive. The round ended with both of them being covered in blood and bruises. Subsequently, in the ninth round, Usyk managed to damage Fury again, causing a standing count. The tenth, eleventh, and twelfth rounds were also equally exciting, as The Gypsy King managed to fight till the end.

Even though he had a size disadvantage, Usyk managed to land shots across the fight. Fury did display his warrior spirit since he sustained so much damage but continued to fight until the final bell.
